The basic circuitry of functional digital devices is described. The principles of construction, operation and design of digital circuit devices, microprocessor devices and their components are considered. The reference tables show the characteristics of modern electronic elements and integrated circuits. Examples of solutions to problems related to arithmetic operations, synthesis, design and control of digital devices, and programming of microprocessor systems are analyzed. Tasks are presented for joint discussion and solution in a small group based on their own knowledge and skills. It is prepared in accordance with the Federal State Educational Standard and is intended for students of technical schools and colleges who teach the specialties " Automation and telemechanics in transport (on railway transport)", "Technical operation of transport radio-electronic equipment" and other specialties when studying the discipline "Circuit solutions for building and controlling digital devices".
